Keyword Density Checker
Paste your text to see which words and phrases you actually repeat — and how often. Useful for catching accidental repetition and obvious stuffing. Not for hitting a magic number, because there isn't one.
Paste some text to see the breakdown.
There Is No Target Density
Plenty of tools will tell you to aim for "1–2%". That number is folklore. Google stopped rewarding a specific density many years ago, and modern search engines understand synonyms, entities, and context — so repeating an exact phrase gains you nothing.
What this tool is genuinely good for:
- Spotting a phrase you repeated far more than you realized
- Catching stuffing inherited from an old page or a cheap writer
- Seeing whether your page is actually about what you think it is
A better question than density
Instead of "how many times did I use the keyword", ask "does this page answer the query better than the ones currently ranking". That's what decides rankings now. Density is a readability check, not a strategy.
